Toronto family told to obtain building permit after pirate ship erected in backyard

What started as a labour of love has quickly turned sour for a Toronto family. A father built a pirate ship in his backyard to get his sons outside during the COVID-19 pandemic, but they say a neighbour’s complaints to the City is making it difficult for anyone to enjoy it.
