Ontario announces strategy on ending streaming, suspensions for some students

Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Education Minister Stephen Lecce announced more details on their Education Equity Strategy on Thursday, saying it would include the elimination of suspensions for students from kindergarten to Grade 3 for non-serious offences, and that the plan to eliminate the streaming process in Grade 9 would begin in 2021 with math courses.
