Australia announced on Thursday it would be suspending its extradition treaty with Hong Kong, the latest country to do so in the wake of China’s new national security legislation imposed on the city. Prime Minister Scott Morrison also said they’d be extending visas for Hong Kong citizens currently in Australia and would offer them a path to stay.
