Due to the economic pressures the coronavirus has caused, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced on Wednesday that the province is introducing further measures to “give municipalities new tools and supports” for infrastructure projects, and are in “active negotiations” with the Canadian federal government to get these supports for Ontario municipalities.
