Canadian Minister of Indigenous Services Marc Miller and National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Perry Bellegarde on Tuesday signed a “historic” Protocol for reforming child and family services for Indigenous communities — something, as Miller said, affirms the rights of those communities over this area to decide what’s best for their children and families.
