White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday attempted to clarify a tweet from U.S. President Donald Trump that called Black Lives Matter “a symbol of hate,” stating that his attack was solely on the organization. McEnany also accused Black Lives Matter organizers of making “hateful” statements toward police.
