Speaking to reporters in Kanata, Ontario on Friday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he “respects” the Canadian political and legal luminaries who wrote him a letter recently urging him to intervene in the case of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou, and said Canada is “actively” working to secure the release of Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor.
