Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called for a “transparent” investigation on Friday of the violent RCMP arrest of Chief Allan Adam of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation in order to “get answers.” In addition, Trudeau also called for police reform within the country as “this is not an isolated incident.”
