Chief Allan Adam of the Athabascan Chipewyan First Nation provided some video evidence Saturday of a beating he says he took from two RCMP officers who allegedly apprehended the chief for an expired vehicle licence plate tag. Speaking outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he was “deeply alarmed” by video of the Chief’s treatment at RCMP officer’s hands.
