First Nation chief recounts his own experience of police brutality

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Chief Allan Adam of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation recounted his experience of being beaten by RCMP officers in Fort McMurray, Alta. after two officers allegedly apprehended the chief for an expired vehicle licence plate tag. Allan claims he was hit in a move similar to that of a “wrestling clothesline.” None of the allegations have been proven in a court of law.
