Dr. Deena Hinshaw said Alberta labs are in the final stages of validating several different types of serology tests, which will show if a person has been exposed to the virus and possibly be immune. However, Hinshaw said there is not enough evidence yet on the testing and cautioned people against trusting over-the-counter products claiming to be COVID-19 serology tests.
