The mother of Breonna Taylor, the Black woman who was fatally shot while in her Louisville home, was emotionally when describing her daughter’s love to help others. During an interview, Tamika Palmer, Taylor’s mother, said she was more concerned with her daughter “washing her hands” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, than she was of her “dying at home.”
