Montreal Mayor Valerie Plante said on Wednesday that they’ve asked the province for $5 million to help support tenants struggling to find a new home ahead of the annual Moving Day. She said she’s also called on the province and federal government to sign a housing agreement, something they’ve been waiting on for “way too long.”
