New University of Alberta president proposes major restructuring

University of Alberta president-elect Bill Flanagan says a major funding shortfall by the Alberta government has prompted the school to start restructuring now. As Kendra Slugoski explains, he is proposing combining some of the 18 faculties to save money — but it could lead to more layoffs.
