Coronavirus outbreak: Scheer says parliament work is essential, demands in-person sessions

Conservative Leader of the Official Opposition Andrew Scheer called for in-person sittings of parliament in his opening remarks in the House of Commons session on Monday, saying the House sat during previous pandemics, wars and other crises. He said that “parliament must meet, it’s role and work is fundamental.”
