On Wednesday, Toronto Mayor John Tory provided an update on the reopening of city park amenities, announcing that areas including basketball courts, picnic shelters, multi-use fields and other facilities will begin opening this weekend. He stated that the amenities will be subject to “quite specific physical distancing rules” and will be open for “casual use” rather than team sports.
