Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau announced Monday that the federal government says it will provide loans and financing to the country’s largest employers to help them weather the COVID-19 economic crisis. Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Monday, Conservative leader Andrew Scheer said he would ask Morneau “is this it?” when it comes to financial support for Canada’s oil and gas sector.
