NDP leader Jagmeet Singh said on Wednesday that his party would support the government in banning military “assault-style” weapons from the streets, “but it’s not clear what the government is proposing, and it leaves legal gun owners concerned” adding that he believes legal gun owners should be compensated for their loss.
