Coronavirus outbreak: Government to spend $55 million on preventing food from going to waste

Speaking outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa on Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that $55 million will go into a fund to buy food that would otherwise spoil and send it to food banks and other organizations.
