Quebec’s deputy premier Geneviève Guilbault announced on Wednesday the arrival of about 400 military personnel from the Canadian Armed Forces to join the troops already deployed in different locations in Quebec amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The new deployments will take place in eight long-term care homes, bringing the total number of long-term care homes assisted by the military in the province to 13.
