Toronto Mayor John Tory announced Wednesday that the city’s iconic High Park would be temporarily closed to the public in anticipation of crowds gathering to catch a glimpse of the cherry blossoms in bloom, an annual Toronto tradition. Tory said the city was working on an online experience for those who had been interested in travelling to the park to view the Sakura trees.
