April 19, 2020
During the province's COVID-19 update press conference, Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil on Sunday addressed the fatal shooting rampage that occurred in Portapique, N.S. earlier in the day. The premier called the shooting, "one of the most senseless acts of violence in our province's history." Multiple sources told Global News that suspect Gabriel Wortman is dead. A body matching the description of Wortman was seen at the Enfield Big Stop on Highway 102.
