Numerous protests took place across the United States on Saturday, as residents continued to ask government officials to lift self-isolation restrictions and reopen businesses amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of the protests, which occurred in states including California, Nevada, Indiana, and Maryland, began after U.S. President Donald Trump asked Americans to “liberate” multiple states on Twitter.
