Coronavirus outbreak: Montreal committing funding to help taxi industry protect drivers, riders

Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante announced on Thursday the city would be committing a subsidy of $260,000 to the Bureau du taxi de Montreal, to allow companies to install plexiglass between the driver and riders to protect both amid the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
