Coronavirus outbreak: Ontario announces 514 new COVID-19 cases, total rises to 8,961

Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams said on Thursday that the province is reporting 514 new cases of COVID-19, which brings the total number of people infected to 8,961. The province has done 128,093 tests so far for the virus. This is up 9,001 tests from the previous day.
