Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams announced on Wednesday that the province has a total of 8,447 COVID-19 cases, including 51 new deaths related to the novel coronavirus, bringing the total provincial deaths to 385. Wednesday’s reported jump in deaths is the highest the province has seen in a single day.
