On Friday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo questioned how the United States ended up with one of the worst COVID-19 outbreaks internationally, despite seeing other countries in distress from the pandemic in early 2020. He also asked why U.S. sources were still ignoring signs in February, and how the country will ensure that “this won’t happen again.” The U.S. currently has over 470,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
