Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister and Winnipeg Mayor Brian Bowman announced the introduction of fines Thursday for those who flout public health and gather during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fine amounts will be at least $486 for individuals- up to $1,000 – and $2,542 for businesses, and up to six months in jail.
