Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stressed on Tuesday that, per chief medical officer Dr. Theresa Tam’s own guidance, while wearing a non-medical mask is fine to do despite it not being a strict recommendation from Tam, people should understand the masks are to protect other people more than the person wearing the mask.
