Alnwick/Haldimand firefighters battled a blaze that stretched across a field just south of Alderville First Nation on Monday afternoon.
Crews were called to an area behind a Rae Line home around 4 p.m. Firefighters used brooms, water packs and a leaf blower to get the flames under control.
There’s no word yet on what sparked the blaze.
