Coronavirus outbreak: Ontario health officials warn about rolling back physical distancing measures too soon

Speaking during a daily briefing on Ontario’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the province’s chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams warned against “turning the dial back” on physical distancing measures, such as the closure of non-essential businesses. Williams said it could mean the province would have to “retrace its steps” if there is a resurgence in COVID-19-related cases.
