Ontario chief medical officer of health Dr. David Williams said on Wednesday that some people in the province had been issued warnings under Section 22 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act to enforce isolation orders, stressing it’s being done to impress upon people this is a serious issue and not abiding by self-isolation measures is “not to be taken lightly.”
