During a World Health Organization (WHO) COVID-19 update on Wednesday, emergencies programme director Dr. Michael Ryan praised international efforts to share up-to-date COVID-19 data, saying that they are working with “every single country” to ensure they are receiving accurate information, and that they need to attribute a possible “lack of transparency” to each country’s specific outbreak scenario.
