Ontario’s associate chief medical officer of health Dr. Barbara Yaffe said on Tuesday that based on data available from local public health units, there are currently 10 long-term care homes in Ontario dealing with COVID-19 outbreaks. She said there are so far 11 reported deaths in care homes out of the total 33 in the province, but advised the data is not yet complete.
