When the federal government announced their 80-billion-plus dollar aid package earlier this week, one of the details that got a lot of people’s attention was a freeze on mortgage payments.
At the time — Finance Minister Bill Morneau said the ‘Big Six’ banks were all on-board.
But so far, when push comes shove — the banks are making individual Canadians “prove” they need the help.
