On Wednesday, Prince Edward Island’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Heather Morrison asked that only essential services continue to operate during the COVID-19 outbreak within the province. She said that all personal services including salons, as well as malls and fitness facilities were to close immediately, and that liquor and cannabis stores would close beginning at 2.pm Thursday.
