Speaking to reporters in Ottawa on Thursday, Finance Minister Bill Morneau was asked about if he’s planning for an urgent supply bill in case the House of Commons has to go on an extended break due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. Morneau said he was confident the finance ministry had made ample preparations for any possible eventualities.
