Anyone in Alberta who thinks they may have COVID-19 symptoms, you are asked to stay home and call 811. From there, the health link nurses will ask you specific questions about your symptoms and travel history. From there, you may be referred to an assessment centre or have an in-home testing team come to your home. Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw explains the process.
