A 16-year-old Cobourg teen was charged with assault causing bodily harm after an assault outside a Tim Hortons on Division Street in Cobourg on Tuesday afternoon.
The 15-year-old boy suffered facial injuries.
Cobourg Police Service chief Paul VandeGraaf says a parent he was “disgusted” to learn of the assault. But he says he was also “disappointed” that no one came to the youth’s aid during and after the incident.
