Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Tuesday that a vaccine for the novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, would likely begin human trials within a month and a half, but cautioned a vaccine would not be available to the public for at least another year.
