Canadians repatriated from Japan after COVID-19 outbreak on cruise ship will be offered mental health support

Emergency Manager of the Public Health Agency of Canada Rhonda Kropp provided an update on Friday about the Canadians who are being repatriated and quarantined in Cornwall, Ont., from the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan, after a two week quarantine due to an on-board outbreak of COVID-19. In addition to outlining the safety protocols in bringing these Canadians home, Kropp said that social support and mental health supports will be made to these people after the stressful ordeal.
