During Question Period in the Canadian House of Commons on Thursday, Minister of Indigenous Services, Marc Miller, said that people cannot truly know what the requests of the Wet’suwet’en people are unless they “actually ask” them. The federal government will be meeting with hereditary chiefs soon to discuss the Coastal GasLink pipeline and the ongoing railway blockades staged by protesters nation-wide.
