Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland on Tuesday called on her fellow MPs to proceed quickly on ratification of the Canada-U.S.-Mexico trade agreement (CUSMA). She said amid other “uncertain” issues both internationally like the COVID-19 outbreak along with ongoing nationwide rail blockades, ratification would give certainty to Canadian businesses and workers.
