Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer on Friday called the rail blockades illegal and said the demonstrators behind them, who are protesting in solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs who oppose the Coastal GasLink pipeline’s construction, needed to “check their privilege.”
