Garneau says injunctions against demonstrators at rail blockades decision by the province
Description
February 14, 2020
Transportation Minister Marc Garneau said Friday that enforcement of injunctions recently levied against demonstrators at rail blockades are decisions that must be made by the respective provinces, but said ones that must be respected. He added that the federal government has been responding to the various protests "every day," and been engaging with companies effected and their provincial counterparts in finding the best solution as quickly as possible.
