House Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff said on Thursday that since part of the alleged quid pro quo involved a political rival, it gives “a greater legitimacy” to the impeachment of U.S. President Donald Trump, in his view. Schiff also called the argument from Trump’s defence team “absurdly dangerous.”
