During U.S. President Donald Trump’s Senate impeachment trial on Saturday, defense lawyers argued that Trump did “absolutely nothing wrong” and that efforts to remove him from office would set a dangerous precedent in an election year. House Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff told reporters after the proceedings that he didn’t think Trump’s lawyers offered a strong defense.
