The novel coronavirus that recently broke out in Wuhan, China is a new virus, so identifying the pathogen had to be done quickly, said World Health Organization officials on Wednesday. Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of WHO said the sequencing for the virus was shared immediately.
