An activist group in Peterborough is lobbying against BWXT’s application to produce uranium pellets out of the former General Electric building.
Citizens Against Radioactive Neighbourhoods (CARN) says the air and water emissions coming from the BWXT plant pose a significant health risk, especially to Prince of Wales Public School across the street.
But BWXT says otherwise.
