With a majority of lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives voting on Wednesday to impeach President Donald Trump, the 45th U.S. president addressed a rally in battleground Michigan with a tone of defiance. At nearly the same time as Trump took the stage in Battle Creek, Mich., supporters of impeachment crossed the 216-vote threshold needed to secure a majority in the House.
